Data sources and your source order

Data sources and your source order

Settings → Data sources is where an admin decides which outside sources the whole organisation may be asked, and where you set the order Everre tries them in when you enrich a field or a kind of record.

Switching a source on or off

Cards are grouped by where your properties actually are first, then by the states a source reaches, then everywhere else. Each names what it gives and what it costs when it finds something — free for a public record, a small charge per found value for a paid one.

Only an admin can flip the switch; everyone else sees the same cards, read-only. Turning a source off stops it being asked by anyone in the organisation — in every column and every automation — immediately. It does not touch what it has already filled.

A source not on file yet shows Not available yet, with why. Cook County Recorder mortgages, for one, need a data licence the county has not granted.

Your own order

Switching a source on for the organisation does not decide who gets asked first — that is yours, set per field or kind of record from wherever you enrich: "Sources are tried in your order" in Add data → Enrich, or "Your order" in a column's own drawer. With nothing set, the order is automatic: sources that actually cover the property come first, free ones before paid, and the cheapest per found value after that.

Two people can order the same field differently without stepping on each other. It changes nothing about what a filled cell already holds — see Enrich properties for the rule — it only decides which source is asked next for a blank one.

This month's spend

The page totals this month's enrichment by person, so you can see who is running it and how much. Caps and the balance itself are in Access & Billing, linked from the same line.
